Demi Lovato finally speaks out after the overdose incident!
Demi Lovato is one of the most well-known stars of this time who is the advocate of body positivity and also the one that has been talking about her struggles throughout her life openly hoping her story could help others that are going down the same path! Demi Lovato struggled with so many mental issues but luckily she came out of it all stronger than ever and now she is an advocate of mental health. Not long ago, she celebrated her 6th year of sobriety and proved everyone that it IS possible.
However, this did not go long, as the news of her overdose hit all the gossip and news pages and people could not believe what they were hearing! The news said that she had been hospitalized for the alleged use of illegal substances. After the release, if her new single, ‘Sober’ the star confessed that she no longer is sober and she apologized for letting her fan down. Her friends saw this coming as the stars went on partying her!
She then was hospitalized and a statement of her struggling with some complications was released and how she was not planning on going to the rehab. She ended it all by finally speaking out about the matter on her Instagram saying: "I have always been transparent about my journey with addiction. What I’ve learned is that this illness is not something that disappears or fades with time. It is something I must continue to overcome and have not done yet,"

Your positive thoughts and prayers have helped me navigate through this difficult time. I want to thank my family, my team, and the staff at Cedars-Sinai who have been by my side this entire time."
"Without them, I wouldn’t be here writing this letter to all of you. I now need time to heal and focus on my sobriety and road to recovery. The love you have all shown me will never be forgotten and I look forward to the day where I can say I came out on the other side. I will keep fighting"
