Lady Gaga talks about how lonely and ugly she feels

Thinking about Lady Gaga (32), we all think that she is that one talented star who is full of confidence and practices what she preaches, but it seems like she, just like the rest of us, is struggling with insecurities, loneliness and feeling ugly! Reportedly, when Lady Gaga met Bradley Cooper (43), he made her clean all her makeup because he wanted the raw face of hers to be on with n mask or anything and she now confesses that she is way more like her character in A Star Is Born than people think!

She said: "It put me right in the place I needed to be, because when my character talks about how ugly she feels—that was real, I'm so insecure."
"To be honest, I think what makes me feel beautiful is when I see happiness in my fans. When I see or hear from them that the music that I’ve made has changed their life in some way, that’s what makes me feel beautiful."

"Because this is just the outside, you know? And at the end of the day, I could be in a million movies and put out a million songs and everyone could say, 'She was so beautiful', but that’s not really what I want."

She talked about how she felt the loneliness of her character: "It’s very lonely being a performer. There’s a certain loneliness that I feel, anyway—that I’m the only one that does what I do. So, it feels like no one understands. And the urge to use is because you’re searching for a way to quell the pain."

"When I first started to perform around the country doing nightclubs, there was stuff everywhere, but I had already partied when I was younger, so I didn’t dabble. I was able to avoid it because I did it when I was a kid."

She also was unlike her character in some ways: "When we meet Ally, she’s given up on herself. And that’s very different from me. I just wasn’t overwhelmed by the odds. The truth is, if we were not sitting here today and I hadn’t sold as many records as I have, I’d still be in a bar somewhere playing the piano and singing. It’s just who I want to be."

This is why she still in an inspiration for all the fans all over the world.
She continued by saying: "I was dragging my piano from dive bar to dive bar to play music. I was calling people, faking being my own manager to get gigs. I really believed in myself that I could do this and that I wasn’t going to stop until I made it."

Coming from a family with a history of lupus, her health is very important to her. Lady Gaga has been tested as borderline positive for the illness, so she’s prone to fall a victim to the condition. In order to spread awareness and to find a cure for the condition, she’s an active donor for lupus organizations. She has seen and dealt with people who are going through the illness, so she’ll do anything to help with the cause.

Daniel Radcliffe (29)

It’s hard to believe, but "Harry Potter" star suffers from mild Dyspraxia, a neurological disorder that causes difficulty in coordination of movements. Fortunately, with it being mild, the worst case scenario will be the difficulty in tying his shoe laces and bad handwriting. Daniel, however, has never hidden the fact that he has the condition but instead embraced it. He started his acting career at a young age despite this condition.

Julia Roberts (50)

The "Pretty Woman" star, suffers from Werlhof’s Disease which is an autoimmune disease. It was allegedly revealed in 2002 by a friend of hers, but when asked about it, Julia had nothing to say. So we’re not exactly sure when and how she was diagnosed, but it clearly doesn’t seem to be having a hold on her life and career. Apparently, she’s blind in one eye too!

Hugh Jackman (49)

Hugh Jackman was diagnosed with skin cancer a few times now. In 2013, he had his basal cell carcinoma removed from his nose and another again in 2014. In order to raise awareness, he takes to his social media to urge fans to wear sunscreen all the time. Hugh is also a very dedicated participant in quite a few charity organizations. Giving back to those in need.

Angelina Jolie (43)

After being tested positive for a cancer-causing gene in 2013, Angelina underwent preventive surgery for breast cancer. But just two years later, she showed early signs of ovarian cancer and she underwent preventive surgery for it again. As a result, she had experienced early menopause. In spite of the difficulties, she’s an active member of the UN for children, women, kids, education, refugees and more.

Ben Stiller (52)

The American actor and comedian was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2014. With no family history of the same, it was unlikely for him to get it. But his medical team was able to detect the condition in the early stages of a PSA test he took every year. With the help of treatment, he was cancer free in a few months. Ben is now an active participant and supporter of many cancer organizations. He urges everyone to be checked regularly to be safe

Nick Cannon (37)

The American musician and TV personality was diagnosed with lupus nephritis in 2012. Nick underwent treatment for kidney failure and again two months later after a pulmonary embolism. It is a chronic autoimmune condition, but that didn’t slow him down from being successful, spending time with his family and being an activist in social causes. He very openly talks about his condition to encourage people that they have only one life. So live it!

Sharon Osbourne (65)

Sharon Osbourne is an English TV host and media personality. She was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2002, but it only got worse from there when it spread to her lymph nodes. With just 33% chance of survival, she battled cancer. Her journey and the way her family coped with the news was documented in the TV show, "The Osbournes". In 2004, she started the Sharon Osbourne Colon Cancer Program.

Michael C. Hall (47)

The American actor who is known for his role as Dexter Morgan in the TV series "Dexter". On January 2010 it was revealed that he was undergoing treatment after being diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma at the age of 38. Since it was still in its early stages, he was cured and has been in remission since April 2010. But that didn’t stop him from continuing his career. He’s also the celebrity spokesperson for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's "Light the Night Walk" fundraising campaign.

Jennifer Lawrence (28)

Jennifer openly confessed to suffering from stage fright "I have a prescription. I find a certain peace by thinking of 'me in public' as sort of an avatar self. You out there can have the avatar me. I can keep me. And I just try to acknowledge that this scrutiny is stressful and that anyone would find it stressful." The actress admits she is just always nervous and anxious and doubts if this will ever change. She is also aware that people can criticize her very easily and this makes her even more scared.

You probably don’t want to believe that this popular actress is afraid of playing on the scene! Do you remember her famous speech about feminism that she made at the United Nations? In the interview, she admitted "I was very nervous. It wasn’t an easy thing for me to do. It felt like: 'Am I going to have lunch with these people, or am I going to be eaten? Am I the lunch?'". She also admitted that her stage fright was connected with being put in the box after playing Hermione in Harry Potter movie but she decided to show people that they are wrong and that made her stronger.

Does Beyoncé suffer from stage fright? Unbelievable but true! Yes, she admitted that she before important events she is extremely anxious and cannot cope with stress. And her worst nightmare when she had to face fear was Grammy performance with Prince in 2004. She confessed in one of the interviews "Walking into rehearsals, I was just so overwhelmed and nervous. I was so scared and in my shell during rehearsals". Also, she had the same feeling before her 2013 self-titled album was released and when her fans were about to see her in 'Life Is But A Dream'.

Adele openly talks about her stage fright saying "I'm scared of audiences." She also adds "One show in Amsterdam, I was so nervous I escaped out the fire exit. I've thrown up a couple of times. Once in Brussels, I projectile vomited on someone." Wow, it’s hard to believe, after all, she is such an amazing star who perform just perfectly on the stage! Adele admits that another popular star, Beyoncé, helped and supported her by paying her some reassuring compliments.
